Victoria is one of the Attaya Projects collaborators who will be showing some of their work at our showcase at B&D Studios for the Northern Design Festival. She is a visual artist who weaves participation, code, body and object. In her studio, she oscillates among her favourites: programming, physical computing and making handmade (often soft!) objects. She is also pursuing a PhD at Sunderland University as part of the CRUMB group (Curatorial Research for Upstart Media Bliss).
Two of her pieces will be on display at the showcase, from 10th-14th October:

Fun day teaching urban interaction design, physical computing and iterative prototyping at the Shift internship programme today!
A little bit of projection mapping… a little bit of Arduino… a fair amount of overview on seminal projects and relevant design methods… and a lot of iterative prototyping and group projects(-ing)!

Attaya was just in Geneva, Switzerland, for the annual Mapping Festival!
Mapping Festival is an annual digital media arts festival promoting “visual, audio and deviant electronics”. Or in short: digital visual arts and VJ culture. This is the 9th edition of the festival. It was about time we go check it out!
